  Hungarian Song's Day

  We got the honourable opportunity to perfom during the series of events called "Hungarian Song's Day" and to celebrate this great tradition along with other Debrecen-based bands.   Success on "Music" 2010 project

  We are greatful to inform you, that VAN participated at the "Music" 2010 project (www.art-mobil.hu) and qualified as one of the 6 best bands. The gala is on 22 August 2010 in Budapest between 14:00 and 15:30. MTV is recording the event and according to the plans you can watch it on telly in October. 2 songs (Andalusian mouse from VAN is involved) are going to be incorporated by a dance coreography with the help of Peter Kovacs from Everdance.

  VIV festival cancelled

  We are sorry to inform you that due to lack of financial support, VIV festival has been cancelled this year. This, of course, means that VAN will not be able to perform there.

  BIRTHDAY CONCERT

  Andalúziai egér (Andalusian mouse) - animated video clip

  An animated video clip was made for our song called Andalúziai egér (Andalusian mouse).
  You can find it under Video menu. Scenes cut and compiled from animation called The adventures of the mouse on Mars (Die Abendteuer der Maus auf dem Mars), authors: Gabi Kubach, Peter F. Bringmann.

  The brand new website

  Changing of concert time in Gönc

  We would like to call everybody's attention to the fact, that the concert in Gönc will be on 26th. Here at the site 25 has been the date, so we fixed it.

  The work is the studio is coming to the end

  The work in the studio is coming to the end and 6 songs will be recorded on the new cd. During this week everybody will finish recording so, hopefully, everybody can listen to the new material in the next months. Naturally, we are working on new songs as well so we intend to introduce them to you as soon as possible. We will meet 3 times next week, everybody is warmly welcome at the concerts.

  Our concert at Puszta Fesztivál is cancelled

  We are really sad to announce that, for problems encountered by the organisers, the Puszta Fesztivál on 19 August is cancelled. However, we still hope that we will have the chance to cooperate again with them in the future.

  Photos, recordings

  VAN won a talentspotter!!!

  Hi out there! On 16th May, our band won the talent spotter held in Nyíregyháza (Hungary)! We would like to thank you for your support, thank the organizers for the possibility and the jury for their decision! We warmly welcome everybody on 23 May, at 18:00 at the Kossuth Square in Debrecen where you can meet with the following bands: Folk Error, Van and the Bikini!!!!!

  Upcoming concerts, new songs

  Improvements on our website

  Recently, many improvements have been made on our site. A new english sub-site has been created and is constantly uploaded with information. No one has to download the songs from the discography because from now on they can be listened to online. The menu Photos has also been modernised, moreover, new pictures are available of our latest concert in the New Inkognito. We also plan further developments in terms of the homepage but this time we do not give everything away…

  the new demo CD

  We would like to inform you, that our new CD has been finished on which Roland Karosi is featuring. The songs are also uploaded on the homepage so anybody can download and listen to them. However, not only 3 but 5 songs are available. Naturally, we still continue with our concerts, the next date is 13th of March. Details under the Concert link.

  Active period

  Dear All! The year 2009 has arrived that means a really active period for the band. New audio material is under recording, new songs are being written, we still have many concerts where, naturally, everybody is welcome. First stop of 2009 will be in the Orange Club.   Actualizing of our demo CD

  After former member changes in the band, we decided to actualize the CD, so after February, you can hear Mr. Roland Karosi playing on guitar and singing on the demo material and in the songs on the hompeage as well.

  Roland Karosi (vocal, guitars) as a new member of VAN

  After a really active spring period, member changes occured in the band that resulted really rare appearance in autumn. We think, the new member Roland Karosi is the best choice who we think we can work together with.
